Services
We believe in seeing the person, not their disability. Hence, we personalize care packages to match the specific requirements of our clients, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
I have support coordination in my plan. How does your team work with my support coordinator?
We work as a dedicated part of your team! We provide regular updates to your support coordinator on your progress with daily living, employment, or community goals. This ensures everyone is aligned and your overall plan is working effectively for you.
How does ‘Assistance with Daily Life Tasks in a Group’ differ from one-on-one support?
Group-based assistance focuses on developing your skills in a social setting. You'll learn alongside others, which is fantastic for building confidence, peer support, and practising communication and teamwork in a real-world context.
Can you help me with travel if I’m not yet ready to use public transport independently?
Absolutely. Our transport assistance is a graduated approach. We can start by travelling with you to build your confidence and skills, and slowly reduce support as you become more independent, at a pace that suits you.
What does ‘Life Stage Transition’ support involve for an older teenager?
For a young person, this service is pivotal. We focus on practical skills for adulthood, which may include exploring future education or employment pathways, understanding tenancy agreements, managing a budget, and building the social confidence needed for this next chapter.
For ‘Assistance to Maintain Employment’, what kind of workplace support can you actually provide?
We can help you understand your role and responsibilities, develop strategies to manage your workload, improve communication with your manager and colleagues, and navigate any workplace challenges. We act as a bridge to ensure your long-term success.
I get anxious in new social situations. How do your Group and Centre-Based Activities help with that?
Our groups are designed to be safe, welcoming, and structured. You can build social confidence at your own pace in a supportive environment, with trained staff on hand to facilitate positive interactions and help you connect with like-minded people.
Does ‘Development of Daily Living Skills’ cover things like cooking and managing finances?
Yes, exactly. We work with you on the practical skills you want to master, from preparing healthy meals and managing a household budget to using public transport and organising your weekly schedule.
Can you help me find a volunteering opportunity that suits my interests?
Yes, this falls under our community participation services. We take the time to understand your passions and strengths, and then help you find, apply for, and settle into a volunteering role that is meaningful and rewarding for you.
What makes your approach to ‘Innovative Community Participation’ different?
We move beyond simply finding an existing activity for you. We co-design participation goals with you, which might involve creating a new project, connecting you with mentors in your field of interest, or building a customised program that develops specific social and community skills.
